Beth & Wes
... and their breathe-taking mountain wedding!

How did you meet?
"We met at a mutual friend's wedding where we were paired up as bridesmaid and groomsman! Our love story didn’t start for another year and a half though."
How did he propose?
"Wes knew that I was starting to catch on to his plans to propose soon... So he took two red solo cups, an already open bottle wine and said, "we were going on an adventure in our apartment complex..." He proposed along our walking path we took with our pup Maddie!"

Tell us about your say yes experience here at Love & Lace!
"It was amazing! So I was actually the only bride coming in that day, and it was snowing! I would not have been surprised if they closed the shop for the day. Thank goodness for Kristen, I am so glad that we were still able to come in! I brought my sisters, Mom and best friend, and even set up a Zoom call with family who couldn't be there. Kristen was game to try anything I wanted and was supportive with each step of the way. I tried, I think, 8 dresses, narrowed it down to 3 and then said yes to my gorgeous dress! I loved the atmosphere and it was so great to spend some time shopping for different veils to see what I liked too. It was a beautiful shop and I felt so welcome and taken care of! I loved how light my dress felt and the details were just beautiful with just enough sparkle for me!"
What was your favorite moment on your wedding day?
"Our favorite moment was when we went out just the two of us and our photographers between cocktail hour and dinner for pictures. We were a bit stressed because there was rain coming but it lasted all of ten minutes, so we just stood under cover and took it all in. There was no reason to stress, it was all going to work out, and the pictures just showcased the beauty of the mountains around us.

What advice would you give to another bride?
"My advice would be to be prepared for something to go wrong along the way. This way, if it happens, you will be prepared and if it doesn't, you will be elated! Have people in your party that are ready to help you when you ask- it will be nice to have them for all the parties, planning and of course the big day!"
